The Carl Block show.  Carl Block of Waxahachie Texas will be here at Sul Ross State University to present a workshop.  CW, as he is affectionately know by his friends, is a folk potter and specializes in face jugs and face pots.  Besides being a great potter he is quite the showman.  Make plans to join us for the workshop...you will have a blast and see a "real go-getter" in action. The workshop date: October 13, 2007 from 9a.m. till 5p.m. Location: The ceramics studio of Sul Ross State University in Alpine, Texas. The Workshop is free and open to the public...come join us! WOW...what a workshop.  CW puts on one heck of a workshop, very informative and very energetic.  He really engaged and interacted with the students.  The evening of the workshop we had a big welcome to Alpine party for CW.  We turned off the ipod and CW broke out the guitar and we all had a great time.  The boy can play and throw...man, what a guy.
